But our journey doesn’t stop with design. True Cruz proudly supports Sponsoring Survivorship, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people battling breast cancer and their families.

This cause runs deep in our roots—it was co-founded by my grandmother Shirley and her best friend Julie, inspired by Julie’s mother Darla, whose miraculous survival story sparked a movement of hope and community.

What began as one woman’s courage has become a ripple of compassion that continues to touch lives across generations.

Through our partnership, we’re turning fashion into a force for good—empowering survivors, honoring strength, and ensuring that no one has to face their journey alone.

At the 29th Annual Sponsoring Survivorship Walk/Run, True Cruz proudly supported this mission through:

• $10 donations for every hat sold or donated during the main raffle.
• A special “Survivor’s Bonus Hat Raffle”, where 100% of ticket sales went directly to Sponsoring Survivorship.
